Saltdean loop
The forecast was good and it turned out to be a great "walk Day" with a nice breeze and just enough sunshine to stop us getting overheated. We drove down to the south coast and parked up at Saltdean. The route took us up the southern side of the South Downs and across lovely rolling countryside until we reached the South Downs Way. Turning South East we followed the SDW for about 5 miles until we reached the outskirts of Rodmell where lunch was beckoning at "The Abergavenny".
A long slow uphill pull after lunch bought us back to Telscombe and the downhill run back to the car.
Stats for the day were ...
